A medical doctor by profession, Dr. Maria Idigo has become an entrepreneur extraordinaire. Blessed with four children, she and her husband have been lucky enough to travel the world and stay at the best hotels in Mexico, Singapore, Greece, Turkey, Malaysia, Abu Dhabi, South Africa, and Brazil to name just a few. Inspired by the hospital and luxury she experienced at these locations, she decided to open Rooken Villas Hotel & Spa: bringing the best the world has to offer to her home country of Nigeria.
